I have never photographed a more joy-filled couple in all my years of photography. Bless Ashley, because she desperately wanted lush greenery. But this March wasn’t working with us. So we had just a bit of a cooler spring engagement session and used the greenhouse and the evergreen trees at Woodward Park! You wouldn’t think there was even a hint of disappointment with the trees and the weather when you see how smiley and giddy they were. When it came down to it, they truthfully didn’t care. The heart of the matter is that they were just so happy to be together, and it was clear and almost contagious being around them.

These two literally radiated joy and happiness and it is SO genuine. They couldn’t stop smiling at each other the entire time. It was so sweet to witness their sweet relationship. There are only a few images that you will see here where we had them do a serious face because it was just so not them to look that way! Smiling and laughing just came naturally through the whole session. Ashley and Grant have spent most of their engagement in two separate States, working and finishing up school. But at last, they came together in the same State, the same town to celebrate.

These two have a huge heart for Jesus and it shows in how they interact with each other and with others. Ashley and Grant, I’m so thankful to know you and to watch God’s plan for your life unfold. Thank you for trusting us to capture this special time in your lives. The time that marks the most important decision you two have made. Thank you.
