Wedding at Eleven Oaks Ranch

Caitlin and Riley’s Fall wedding at Eleven Oaks Ranch felt extra special because we had already photographed Caitlin’s sister’s wedding 2 years prior. It definitely felt like a little family reunion when we showed up! These two have been a lot of fun to work with. Except that it’s not at all work. It’s like making 2 new friends.

I remember when Caitlin came along for her sister’s engagement session. She drove down from Stillwater just for the fun. Riley hadn’t even asked the “big” question yet, but somewhere along the lines I made a joke with her that she should save my details for once it’s her turn haha! And wouldn’t you know, she did just that! We actually got to meet Riley at her sister’s wedding. And I can honestly say that after being with the two of them together that day, I hoped even more that she would call me about their wedding! And I’m so glad they did.

One of the fun things we got to learn about Caitlin and Riley is that she is very organized (yes, it was a dream working with her – haha!) and then he balances her out by throwing in just a touch of a curveball. Also, Riley is very laid back, and not afraid to go off script. Consequently, I have to say that they definitely have a good balance in their relationship.

THE WEDDING AT ELEVEN OAKS RANCH

This warm, Fall wedding day was beautiful, so very put together, and even… peaceful. I know that most of the time weddings seem to feel chaotic. And while Caitlin certainly had a few moments of concern, I have to point out that what I loved about their wedding is that they just rolled with the punches. Their team worked together so smoothly and certainly made it feel so relaxed and simple. I mean, wow. Above all, they’ve got an amazing family supporting them. God’s presence was felt throughout the entire day: the gentle emotions, tears shed and sweet moments that were shared. Through all of it, He was glorified. What an honor it was to be a part of this. To be a part of two of the Oakleaf siblings weddings now. Enjoy catching a glimpse into their day!
